At a time of economic uncertainty Tragus took the decision to make a significant investment in design to strengthen the Strada brand.

Originally appointed to trial a design in seven sites, we subsequently delivered a refresh programme nationwide. The practice produced a design framework and coherent language of design elements appropriate for implementation on listed sites both traditional (West India Quay) and Modernist (The Royal Festival Hall) as well as contemporary new-builds (Westfield Stratford).

Unlike conventional service industry rollout programmes where the designer is appointed to draw up a pattern book concept design which is handed on to a contractor, we were retained as design ambassador, producing tailored schemes for 70 units nationwide, delivering these at a rate one per week.
